Howard Lyman evolved from a fourth generation cattle rancher to an author, activist, vegetarian and co-defendant with Oprah Winfrey in the Texas cattle rancher's lawsuit. He is uniquely qualified for his role as President of EarthSave International. Howard travels an average of 100,000 miles a year, speaking and educating the public about organic, sustainable agriculture and the state of our current food choices and methods of food production. Howard is the author of the bestselling book, Mad Cowboy: Plain Truth from the Cattle Rancher Who Won't Eat Meat. Howard has said he will do his best to have "The Great Bamboosical" shown on HBO.



Lisa Versaci

Lisa Versaci is currently an associate producer at Nickelodeon at the headquarters in New York City. Her most recent project is "Moomie's Garage", an animated series of shorts created by R.B. LeMire. Her responsibilities are manifold as she is currently producing, directing and writing for "Moomie's Garage". Lisa created and managed "Eat Smart Ala Carte", a successful vegan food business, for several years in Ann Arbor, Michigan. One of her most recent accomplishments is bringing a Vegetarian Burger to the Burger King menu nationally. With the help of John Robbins, Lisa was able to use her Father's involvement in BK (a board member) to make this monumental accomplishment a reality. Lisa has been a vegetarian since 1989 and has been eating vegan for the past eight years. Lisa has made her life a statement of compassion. Lisa believes that dreams can happen if true faith and love are the driving forces behind them.

We produce campaign materials for activists, including booklets with detailed information on topics such as nutrition, the environment, and factory farming. We are an international organization, registered in the USA as a 501(c)(3) non-profit helping people change to a veggie diet! The San Francisco Vegetarian Society (SFVS) is a non-profit organization that has been working in the Bay Area for over 25 years promoting a vegetarian diet as a healthful and humane way of life. The Society hosts events throughout the year such as vegetarian potlucks, picnics, dining out and lectures. Monthly meetings are held the second Saturday of the month; everyone is welcome.

Miriam is spreading the word in Kentucky about "The Great Bamboosical". She is helping arrange coverage of the film in her EarthSave group's newsletter and other local papers and is placing flyers in popular stores and coffehouses and taking them to meetings. She has even contacted a spanish paper that is going to translate an article about the film and CD. She is inspiring and is making a difference in the lives of animals and people.

Susan is spreading the word in Cincinnati about "The Great Bamboosical" and connecting non-profits with the 'Partners in Compassion' program so they can directly benefit from sales in their area. She has also submitted some songs for the soundtrack!
